The Triumph Razor Edge Owners’ Club Ltd |
![]() The Club was established in 1975 after an informal meeting by four saloon owners. They considered that the large Triumph Razoredge cars could best be supported with a club dedicated to them despite some mechanical commonality with other Standard Triumph cars. The formation of the T.R.O.C. provided the impetus and resources for the acquisition of spare parts that were then considered obsolete by the Standard Triumph garages around the country. A considerable quantity of such spares were obtained, some of which we still have in stock. Later on, in the 1980s, a decision was taken to change from the then informal nature of the Club to a formal company registered in the UK with Companies House as The Triumph Razoredge Owners’ Club Limited. With this change we were able to not only provide the original Standard Triumph spares to our members but also, where appropriate, arrange for the re-manufacture of some items that were essential for the maintenance of the cars we support. The Club is run by an elected committee. Each member of the committee is an unpaid volunteer who supports the Club in their own time. We have around 200 members worldwide. Although mainly centred in Britain, we have overseas members from countries such as America, Australia, Malta, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, France and Scandinavia. The number of members remains at around this level. This is most probably because, as far as we are aware, there are only some 200 of the Triumph Razoredge cars left worldwide. We have close ties with other Standard Triumph Clubs and occasionally hold joint events with the Triumph Roadster Club and the Triumph Mayflower Club. The T.R.O.C. holds its own annual rally in mid-July, usually at a central location of interest for the whole family. Standard & Triumph spares & service directory 1955
